Janitor / Custodial Staff

We are seeking a diligent and responsible Janitor to join our facility management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all areas, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for employees, visitors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash containers and dispose of waste properly.
• Maintain janitorial equipment and supplies, reporting any damages or needs for replacement.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests and spills.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations within the premises.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
• Good time management and reliability.
• Basic communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.

Work Environment

This role may require early morning or evening shifts and the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be followed.
